Cuando el Punk colisionó con el Rap

El rap y el hiphop representaban unas energías renovadas mientras que el punk parecida languidecer, ya muy domesticado y recuperado por la industria musical. Esto llevó a que músicos punk de distintas escenas se pasaran al rap, el ejemplo más representativo internacionalmente fue el de Dee Dee Ramone, bajista de los Ramones, que pasó a rebautizarse como Dee Dee King, mientras que en el estado español todos nos acordamos de la transformación de pioneros del hardcore TDK a pioneros del rap: Master TDK.

Mientras permanecía en un centro de desintoxicación el bajista de los Ramones conoció el rap, de vuelta al mundo, en 1989, lanzó su disco en solitario como artista rapero, con el hit Funky man, donde decía que “las drogas no pagan”, no sabemos cuanto le duró el desenganche.

Y como deciamos anteriormente, en España la banda TDK devino en Master TDK, tambien en 1989, cuando cantaban aquello de “Soy un desastre”. Tras la aparición del álbum se separaron.
